The House of Snider in Toronto: the museum's Snider clocks collection online

The Canadian Clock Museum received a small Community Memories project contract from Heritage Canada in 2007 to tell the story about Harry Snider's Toronto-based clock companies between 1950 and 1976.

With the help of summer student Megan Morris and Harry's younger son Michael,  the results went online through the Virtual Museum of Canada in July of 2008.  Included are pictures of all of the clocks in the museum's Snider collection up to August 2007.   Of course, we have continued to add interesting Snider models to our collection since then, with eBay being a major source.
